Action Areas
- Organise coaching courses and seminars within the region
- To fund coach participation in relevant courses and seminars within the region
- To compile and analyse information on the qualified coaches working in the region
- Communicate the benefits of having a coaching qualification, to encourage those who are not qualified, to consider it.
Output / Impact
- Increased knowledge of best practice and new advances in coaching
- Teaching of technique more consistent across the region and in line with the technical vision of the GB squad coaches.
- A clear progression by the region’s coaches through the available qualifications.
- Input to the NCC if feedback indicates that courses are not meeting the needs of the region.
